Summary, etc. The waking dream ( le rêve éveillé) in psychoanalytical therapy has remained consistent with the first inspiration of the creator of the directed waking dream, Desoille. In therapies where the family problem is at the core of the issue, it plays the role of spoken metaphor. Thanks to the waking dream, the unsaid can be lived, verbalized, and resolved. It is also the key to the family secret, sensed and progressively revealed, or extracted from the phantasy. Those themes will be developed through three clinical examples.
