Avant l’apparition des frontières qui séparent à présent les États-nations et servent de remparts au développement capitaliste et technoscientifique du nouveau monde industriel, cet ancrage n’était autre que ce que l’on désignait couramment derrière le mot « pays ». Que reste-t-il des « pays » aujourd’hui ? Est-il souhaitable ou même possible d’y « revenir » d’une façon ou d’une autre ? Telles sont les principales questions abordées ici. |

This leads us to rehabilitate the cultural deep-rootedness of the human, which is the sole way to preserve and maintain all the richness and diversity of this life. Before the appearance of the borders that separate the nation-states and serve as ramparts to the capitalist and technoscientific development of the new industrial world, this deep-rootedness was nothing else than what we commonly meant by “land” (“ pays”). What is left of “lands” today? Is it desirable or even possible to “go back” to them in one way or another? These are the questions addressed here. |
