| Summary, etc. | Les recherches sur les pratiques informationnelles en France renvoient à des épistémologies et des méthodologies plurielles s’appuyant sur des terrains d’observation diversifiés. En partant de la définition de M. Ihadjadene et de S. Chaudiron de 2009, nous défendons l’idée d’une approche communicationnelle des pratiques informationnelles dans le domaine éducatif français. Cette approche info-communicationnelle rend compte d’une orientation sémiotique pour analyser les pratiques informationnelles des élèves et des enseignants dans leur environnement de travail à travers les dispositifs médiatiques utilisés. |

| Summary, etc. | French research on information practice is based on a variety of epistemological and methodological foundations and is carried out across a diverse range of fieldwork contexts. Referring to Ihadjadene and Chaudiron’s 2009 definition, we defend a communicational approach to the study of information practices in the French educational field. This info-communicational approach, characterized by a semiotic orientation, seeks to apprehend the information practices of students and teachers in their working environments through the media devices they use. |
