| Summary, etc. | Cette étude interroge la réception des films dystopiques Hunger Games, Divergente et Le Labyrinthe par un public de jeunes. Ils ont en commun de mettre en avant des personnages principaux féminins puissants et semblent disposer d’un potentiel d’appropriation féministe. Les résultats suggèrent que la majorité des individus interrogés se préoccupent peu du sexe ou du genre des héroïnes de dystopies. En revanche, le genre, le sexe et l’âge des enquêtés est une variable importante dans la lecture de ces fictions : rejet de la romance chez les jeunes adultes de sexe féminin ou encore lectures populistes chez les jeunes hommes. |

| Summary, etc. | We analyze the reception by young audiences of the dystopian films The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Maze Runner. These films feature strong female leads, which would suggest possible feminist appropriations. However, our results show that most interviewed individuals are not preoccupied with gender issues in these fictions. Yet audience gender, sex and age produce different readings of the films: young female adults tend to reject romance whereas we observe populist readings by male viewers. |
