| Summary, etc. | Cet article se focalise sur l'expérience des femmes musulmanes chiites qui ont étudié au sein des écoles religieuses hawza à Bagdad et Najat, entre 2015 et 2016. Cette étude tente d'analyser l'impact de l'enseignement de ces séminaires sur la vie personnelle des participantes, et sur la manière de repenser les relations de genre. L'article accorde une attention particulière à la manière dont ces séminaires ont pu ouvrir de nouvelles voies pour ces femmes musulmanes dans l'espace public irakien. Il souhaite laisser la parole aux femmes elles-mêmes et dépasser les visions réductrices des femmes musulmanes comme étant des victimes passives. Ce faisant, cette étude aborde la position antagonique des forces politiques vis-à-vis de la participation et de la présence des femmes dans la sphère publique ainsi que les moyens mobilisés par les femmes pour faire face aux pratiques d'exclusion et de marginalisation. Cet article enfin cherche à comprendre les formes d'activisme mobilisées et les ‘agentivités’ déployées, que nous lisons au prisme du particularisme éthique et du contexte politique complexe. |

| Summary, etc. | This article focuses on the experiences of muslim Shi’a women who studied at the Hawza religious schools of Baghdad and Najaf between 2015 and 2016. This study is an attempt to analyze the impact of these seminar’s teachings on the personal lives of the attendees in the process of rethinking gender relationships. The article pays particular attention to pathes that these seminars have opened up for these muslim women within the public space in Iraq. It is calling to let the floor to the voice of women and to transcend the simplistic view of the muslim women as passive victims. On the contrary, it strives to describe the political antagonism towards participation and the presence of women within the public debate, as well as the ways women resist these practices of exclusion and marginalization. Indeed, this article attempts to outline the forms of activism mobilized and the scope of agency deployed by these women through the prism of an ethical particularism and within a complex political situation. |
