| Summary, etc. | RésuméFace au divorce grandissant entre action et cognition dans les recherches contemporaines, l’objectif de ce numéro thématique d’ Enfance est de discuter la thèse du rôle de l’action comme source et comme principe organisateur de la pensée humaine. En effet, la découverte en neurosciences des neurones dits « miroir », au début des années 1990, est susceptible de produire un changement de perspectives dans la conception psychologique des relations entre action et pensée. Des spécialistes non seulement du domaine de la psychologie mais aussi des domaines de l’épistémologie, de la didactique et de l’ethnométhodologie ont accepté d’apporter leur éclairage à ce débat. Après avoir rappelé les principales questions vives relatives aux sources de la pensée, nous présentons les axes de réflexion dégagés des différentes contributions : 1. Agir pour comprendre les propriétés du monde physique : en utilisant quels types d’action ? 2. Interagir pour comprendre le monde humain : quel est le rôle de l’interaction sociale et conversationnelle ? 3. Peut-on concevoir une synthèse intégrative des relations entre cerveau-corps-pensée-monde ? |

| Summary, etc. | Introduction - Role of action on thinking development: deep questions and new research perspectivesObserving that in contemporary research, we are faced with a growing up “divorce” between action and cognition, the aim of this thematic issue of Enfance is to discuss the thesis of the role of action as a source and as an organizing principle of Human thinking. Indeed, in neurosciences the discovery of mirror neurons, at the beginning of the 1990’s, is likely to produce a main shift in the way to understand the relations between action and thinking. Specialists from the psychology domain as well as from the epistemology, didactic and ethnomethodology ones have agreed to throw their light on this debate. After pointing out the principal deep questions related to the sources of thinking, we present the main lines derived from the various contributions: 1. Acting in order to understand the properties of the physical world : which types of action are used? 2. Inter-acting in order to understand the human world : what is the role of social and conversational interaction? 3. Is it possible to conceive an integrative synthesis of the relationships between brain-body-thinking-world? |
