| Summary, etc. | Les entrepreneurs ayant subi une liquidation judiciaire sont victimes de stigmatisation et éprouvent des difficultés à accéder à des ressources financières en cas de nouveau projet. À travers une expérimentation auprès de 911 banquiers, nous cherchons à savoir dans quelle mesure l’accompagnement d’un entrepreneur ayant subi une liquidation judiciaire, par une structure dédiée, envoie un signal positif au chargé d’affaires, de nature à effacer le stigmate. Au-delà de confirmer, à grande échelle, l’existence d’une stigmatisation post-liquidation judiciaire, nous caractérisons ce phénomène en termes de capacité et d’intégrité perçues. Nous montrons aussi que l’affichage, par l’entrepreneur, d’un accompagnement modifie le cadrage du dossier par le chargé d’affaires. |

| Summary, etc. | Post-bankruptcy entrepreneurs are victims of stigmatization and have difficulty accessing financial resources for new projects. Through an experiment with 911 bankers, we seek to determine the extent to which the support provided to entrepreneurs by dedicated organizations sends a positive signal to loan officers, capable of dispelling that stigma. Beyond confirming, on a large scale, the existence of a post-bankruptcy stigma, we characterize this phenomenon in terms of perceived capacity and integrity. We also show that entrepreneurs’ willingness to discuss this support modifies the framing of the file by the loan officer. |
