| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe concept d’euthanasie est complexe. Il contient plusieurs éléments de nature diverse. Nous nous proposons d’en analyser brièvement quelques uns: aspect temporel paradoxal d’un acte qui hâte la survenue d’un mal, relation de pouvoir entre les acteurs, implication affective de l’agent, jugement sur la valeur de la vie restant à vivre. Pour mieux les dégager nous utilisons la comparaison avec l’euthanasie animale. Cette dernière aide à repérer les phénomènes de glissement, inversion de signification et confusions qui peuvent survenir dans les jugements et les décisions dans ce domaine. |

| Summary, etc. | Euthanasia is a complex concept. It contains different elements. We’ll analyse some of them: the temporal and paradoxal aspects of an act that accelerates the unexpected becoming of death, a power relation between characters, emotional implication of the subject, an opinion about value of life. We’ll compare these datas with animal euthanasia. Animal euthanasia helps us to understand shifts in meaning, signification inversion and confusions that may arrive in judgements and decisions in that domain. |
