| Summary, etc. | RésuméÀ partir d’une enquête menée auprès d’ouvriers et d’ouvrières dans une usine textile du Nord de la France, il s’agissait de savoir si homme et femme, catégories opératoires dans la société, étaient aussi des catégories opératoires à l’usine. Nous voyons, que pour les ouvriers et les ouvrières rencontrés, ouvrier et ouvrière ouvrent à un autre espace d’intellectualité que celui du genre. Il n’y a, pour les uns, comme pour les autres, qu’un seul dispositif référentiel : le mot ouvrier. |

The point was to determine wether the caterogies « man » and « woman » were relevant within the factory. Both categories « male worker » and « female worker » do not refer to gender but lead to a specific intellectuality. For both of them « worker » is the unique referent. |

Die Arbeiter und Arbeiterinnen, die gefragt wurden, meinen, dass « Arbeiter » und « Arbeiterin » als Denkkategorien nicht auf Geschlecht verweisen. Beide beziehen sich nur auf « Arbeiter ». |
