| Summary, etc. | Cet article porte sur les migrations des néo-agriculteurs vers l’Italie rurale. À partir d’une enquête qualitative (entretiens et observations) menée en Sardaigne et dans la Tuscia (Italie centrale), il étudie comment ils s’appuient sur les ancrages sociaux et géographiques pour déterminer le lieu de leur installation comme pour accéder au foncier, acquérir des savoir-faire ou trouver des réseaux de commercialisation. Il montre que la diversité des origines socio-géographiques des néo-agriculteurs est un facteur de différenciation dans l’accès aux ressources, notamment sociales. |

| Summary, etc. | This article studies new entrants to farming setting up in rural Italy. It draws on a qualitative study involving interviews and observations in Sardinia and Tuscia (central Italy), exploring how the new entrants draw on social and geographic roots to decide where to settle and to access land, acquire the skills they need, and tap into sales networks. The article demonstrates that the diversity of social and geographic origins of new entrants to farming is a differentiating factor in the access to resources, particularly those that are social in nature. |
