| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa mort urbaine moderne conduit à une répartition des tâches professionnelles. Des recherches menées dans une ville suisse-allemande de tradition protestante ont montré qu’un champ de tension existe entre la routine professionnelle et l’exigence d’une singularité respectueuse. Du côté des proches, la mort est dramatisée ; du côté des acteurs professionnels, elle est banalisée. Autour de la mort, la tâche principale des pasteurs est de consoler dans les lieux quasi sacrés des crématoires. Chez eux, s’exprime un mécontentement croissant par rapport aux contraintes dominantes du déroulement de la pratique des enterrements. On observe une recherche de nouvelles formes rituelles qui mêleraient des processus de routine et d’individualisation. |

Forschungen in einer Deutschschweizer Stadt reformierter Tradition haben ergeben, dass ein beträchtliches Spannungsfeld zwischen beruflicher Routine und dem Anspruch auf pietätvolle Singularität besteht. Auf der Seite der Angehörigen wird der Tod tendenziell dramatisiert, während die Berufsakteure ihn notgedrungen banalisieren. Die Hauptaufgabe der reformierten Pfarrer rund um den Tod besteht in der Trostspende für die Angehörigen in den halbsakralen Räumlichkeiten der Krematorien. die Unzufriedenheit mit den von Sachzwängen dominierten Abläufen der Bestattungspraxis zunimmt. Es wird nach neuen rituellen Formen gesucht, die gleichzeitig Routinisierungs- und Individualisierungsprozesse zulassen. |
