| Summary, etc. | Cet article rend compte des premiers résultats d’une enquête qualitative sur les besoins des jeunes ruraux en matière de logement et les actions menées dans ce domaine par les collectivités locales. Il s’appuie sur un corpus composé de 28 entretiens réalisés dans le Lot (communauté d’agglomération du Grand Cahors et communauté de communes des Causses et Vallées de la Dordogne) ainsi que sur une analyse documentaire. Il ressort de ces recherches que les attentes de cette population sont mal connues des acteurs locaux et peu satisfaites. De multiples raisons l’expliquent dont un parc immobilier insuffisant et inadapté, des loyers trop chers, des bailleurs privés réticents et une grande mobilité de ces jeunes, caractéristique des modes d’habiter des 18-30 ans. |

| Summary, etc. | This article summarises the initial results of a qualitative survey of the housing needs of young people in rural areas and the action taken by local authorities. It is based on a corpus of twenty-eight interviews conducted in the Lot (the Greater Cahors urban community and the Causses et Vallées de la Dordogne community of municipalities) and on a documentary analysis. The research revealed that the expectations of the population are not well-known to local players and are not well met. There are a number of reasons for this, including insufficient and unsuitable housing stock, overpriced rents, reluctance on the part of private landlords and a high degree of mobility among young people, which is characteristic of the way eighteen- to thirty-year-olds live. |
