| Summary, etc. | En 2017, un projet de plateforme d’agriculture intelligente émerge en Suisse dans le but de centraliser les données et ainsi simplifier le travail administratif des agriculteurs. Ce projet est loin de faire l'unanimité. Sur la base d'un travail de terrain mené auprès de producteurs, de fonctionnaires et de responsables d’organisations privées du secteur agricole suisse, cet article analyse les raisons de son rejet. Les objections formulées par les acteurs de terrain dénoncent une conception de la plateforme qui ne prend pas suffisamment en compte leurs configurations sociotechniques, et en particulier leurs pratiques associées aux données. Elles nous amènent à remettre en question deux présupposés de la littérature en sciences sociales sur l'agriculture numérique : d'une part, la passivité de l'État dans ses développements, d'autre part, leur faisabilité. |

| Summary, etc. | In 2017, a smart farming platform project was launched in Switzerland with the aim of centralizing data and thus simplifying administrative work for farmers. Support for the project was far from unanimous. Drawing on fieldwork conducted with farmers, government officials and leaders of private organizations in the Swiss agricultural sector, this article analyses why it was unsuccessful. The field actors identified that the platform did not sufficiently account for their socio-technical configurations, specifically their data practices. These findings lead us to question two assumptions made about digital agriculture within social sciences research: first, the passivity of the State in relation to these developments, and second, their feasibility. |
