| Summary, etc. | Comment les jeunes issus de l’immigration accèdent-ils aux emplois d’enseignants ? Pour tenter de répondre à cette interrogation, nous comparerons d’abord les principales propriétés sociales de ces jeunes avec celles de leurs pairs « d’origine française » (*). Dans un second temps, nous montrerons que notamment une forte mobilisation familiale envers l’école et une socialisation anticipatrice aux professions de l’éducation, à travers la pratique d’activités para-scolaires, favorisent l’orientation vers le métier d’enseignant. Les résultats présentés ici sont issus d’une enquête quantitative menée auprès de 1 022 futurs enseignants admis en seconde année à l’Institut universitaire de formation des maîtres (IUFM) de Créteil.(*) : Par « origine française », nous entendons des enseignants dont les deux parents étaient de nationalité française à la naissance de l’enseignant. |

| Summary, etc. | How do young people from immigrant families come to be teachers? With a view to answering this question, it is proposed here to first compare the main social characteristics of these young people with those of their peers “of French origin”. Secondly, the author describes how factors suchas strong family commitment to schooling contribute, and how socialising processes promote the image of the teaching profession by encouraging specific leisure activities. These influences tend to steer young people with immigrant family backgrounds towards this particular walk of life. The results presented here were based on a quantitative survey carried out on 1 022 future teachers in their second year of study at the Teacher Training Institute (IUFM) in Créteil, near Paris. |

| Summary, etc. | Wie erlangen junge Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund Zugang zu den Erziehungs- und Lehrberufen? Um diese Frage beantworten zu können, vergleicht der Autor dieses Beitrags zuerst die sozialen Hauptmerkmale dieser Jugendlichen mit denen entsprechender Jugendlichen „französischer Herkunft“. Danach zeigt er, dass sich die Mobilisierung familiärer Ressourcen für das schulische Ausbildungsprojekt sowie frühzeitige Sozialisierung in Hinblick auf Erziehungs- und Lehrberufe durch außerschulische Aktivitäten positiv auf die Einscheidung für eine spätere Lehrtätigkeit auswirken.Die hier vorgestellten Ergebnisse basieren auf einer quantitativen Erhebung, die mit 1.022 Lehramtskandidaten im zweiten Ausbildungsjahr am IUFM (Universitätsinstitut für Lehrerausbildung) in Créteil durchgeführt wurde. |
