| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’intéresse à l’incidence des émotions sur les processus de décision. Il examine plus particulièrement l’effet de l’Intelligence Emotionnelle, mesurée à partir de l’échelle SSREI1 de Schutte et al. (1998), sur les biais décisionnels. Une étude empirique a été menée sur un échantillon de 108 managers français en formation continue au Cnam de Paris (2006). Les résultats montrent que globalement, une Intelligence Emotionnelle élevée permet de diminuer les biais relatifs aux décisions. Cet effet doit être cependant distingué selon la dimension de l’Intelligence Emotionnelle considérée. |

| Summary, etc. | Emotional Intelligence and Decision MakingThis study focuses on the effect of emotions on decision process. It investigates the links existing between Emotional Intelligence measured thanks to SSREI scale (Schutte and al., 1998) and decision making biases. The empirical study has been conducted over 108 French managers studying at the Cnam of Paris (2006). The results suggest that Emotional Intelligence can have a moderating effect on cognitive biases. Nevertheless, this effect does not remain similar according to the Emotional Intelligence’s dimension taken into account. |
