| Summary, etc. | Cette recherche vise à explorer le passage d’une approche déterministe à une approche interactionniste des relations entre les TIC et l’organisation ainsi que leurs implications managériales au sein d’un grand groupe hôtelier. Fondé sur une démarche qualitative, notre protocole de recherche vise à appréhender la spécificité de l’interconnexion des TIC avec les changements organisationnels introduits au sein du groupe hôtelier Accor. Notre recherche fait ainsi ressortir que l’interaction organisation-technologie ne peut être isolée du mode de management de l’entreprise. Il ressort en outre que les cadres intermédiaires peuvent jouer un rôle clef pour lever les résistances au changement ou encore réduire les coûts cachés liés à l’introduction des TIC et ainsi induire par la même une véritable dynamique organisationnelle. |

| Summary, etc. | Managerial implications of the ICT use in a hotel group : the case of the ACCOR groupThis research aims at exploring the relation between technological and organizational changes within a big hotel group. We analyze indeed, the passage from a deterministic approach to an interactionnist approach of the relations between ICT and organization as well as their managerial implications. Based on a qualitative study, our research protocol enables us to analyze the interconnection of ICT with organizational changes introduced within the Accor hotel group. Our empirical research thus emphasizes that the interaction between organization and technology cannot be isolated from the company’s managerial mode. Our research outlines also that middle management can play a key role in raising resistances to change and in reducing hidden costs related to introduction of ICT which in term can induce a real organizational dynamic. |
