| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article cherche à faire progresser une recherche empirique en économie politique institutionnaliste en lui facilitant l’accès à des objets d’un intérêt majeur pour elle que sont les industries à travers deux propositions.1) Le gouvernement des industries est une forme relativement autonome d’articulation des phénomènes micro et macro incarnée par une structure méso qui définit les conditions de vie proprement économiques d’une activité et le rôle qu’y jouent les institutions.2) La reproduction de ce gouvernement n’est pensable qu’à condition d’engager un travail théorique sur les échelles qui y interviennent, ainsi que leurs (dés)articulations, les conditions de leur validité, leur portée et leurs limites.Chacun de ces points est illustré par nos travaux empiriques en cours sur « le gouvernement européen des industries », et ceux de l’automobile et du vin en particulier. |

| Summary, etc. | This article sets out to refine existing empirical research in institutionalist political economy by developing tools to facilitate analysis of industries. Two propositions are made:1) The government of industries entails a relatively autonomous type of articulation between micro and macro phenomena which are incarnated by the meso level that defines both the purely economic conditions of an industrial activity and the role institutions play within it.2) The reproduction of such government can only be understood if one engages in theoretical investment regarding the scales which intervene within it, and therefore their (mis)fit, what makes them have practical effects as well as their limits.Each of these arguments is illustrated by ongoing empirical research on “the European Union’s government of industries” in general, and that of the car and wine industries in particular. |
