| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’analyse des flux migratoires nous permet de mieux comprendre si leur accélération est favorable ou non au processus de développement et de croissance économique. L’étude comparative que nous menons montre clairement (i) que pour l’Asie de l’Est, les flux migratoires accompagnent un processus de régionalisation dynamique améliorant les conditions générales du développement des pays les plus pauvres et (ii) qu’à l’inverse, sur le bassin méditerranéen, le désordre de ces flux, leur caractère unilatéral, constituent généralement un handicap. |

| Summary, etc. | The analysis of migratory flows enables us to better understand if their acceleration is favorable or not to the process of development and economic growth. Comparative study which we carry out demonstrates clearly (i) that for Eastern Asia, migratory flows accompany a process of dynamic regionalization improving the general conditions of the development of the poorest countries and (ii) that in the opposite, on the Mediterranean basin, the disorder of these flows, their unilateral character, generally constitute a handicap. |
