| Summary, etc. | L’article est consacré au roman d’Ursula Krechel Landgericht (2012) qui se présente comme une biographie rigoureusement documentée d’un juge juif contraint, sous le Troisième Reich, de s’exiler et de se séparer de sa famille, faisant partie des rares émigrés qui, après la guerre, reviennent en Allemagne et tentent d’y retrouver une place. Il montre comment Ursula Krechel s’appuie pour ce faire sur des éléments empruntés à l’histoire d’un personnage réel, faisant appel notamment à des documents d’archives ainsi qu’à des témoignages de proches qu’elle intègre dans le texte. Il analyse cependant aussi dans quelle mesure le livre, tout en s’inspirant de très près de sa documentation, prend néanmoins des libertés avec elle pour placer des accents et brosser un tableau critique de l’Allemagne de l’après-guerre. |

It shows how Ursula Krechel uses elements from the history of a real person, using archival documents and testimonies of relatives, which she integrates into the text. However, it also analyses the extent to which the book, while drawing very closely on its documentation, nevertheless takes liberties with it in order to set accents and paint a critical picture of post-war Germany |

| Summary, etc. | Der Beitrag ist Ursula Krechels Roman Landgericht (2012) gewidmet, der sich als eine sorgfältig dokumentierte Biografie eines jüdischen Richters präsentiert, der während des Dritten Reichs ins Exil gezwungen und von seiner Familie getrennt wird und zu den wenigen Emigranten gehört, die nach dem Krieg nach Deutschland zurückkehren und versuchen, dort einen Platz für sich zu finden. Er zeigt, wie Ursula Krechel Elemente aus der Geschichte einer realen Person verwendet, u.a. Archivdokumente und Zeugenaussagen von Angehörigen, die sie in den Text integriert. Er analysiert aber auch, inwieweit sich das Buch zwar sehr eng an die Dokumentation anlehnt, sich aber dennoch Freiheiten nimmt, um Akzente zu setzen und ein kritisches Bild vom Deutschland der Nachkriegszeit zu zeichnen. |
