| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’appuie sur la remobilisation de résultats issus d’enquêtes compréhensives réalisées dans les espaces périurbains franciliens entre 2007 et 2013. Il envisage les conditions de vie des ménages vieillissants et leurs ajustements pour faire face à la montée en âge et interroge le maintien, ou non, de ces publics dans des contextes considérés comme inadaptés.Un premier temps reviendra sur l’actualité des stratégies résidentielles à mesure de la montée en âge : mobilités, immobilités et attachement à la maison individuelle. Nous examinerons ensuite les principales recompositions dans les modes d’habiter des retraités périurbains rencontrés. Il s’agit d’aborder ici la reconfiguration des spatialités comme des sociabilités, qui diffèrent selon les contextes résidentiels, les trajectoires familiales et sociales, le niveau d’autonomie. Ces enquêtes révèlent les tactiques et les stratégies employées par les ménages vieillissants en vue de conserver la maîtrise de leur quotidien et de demeurer le plus durablement possible dans ces environnements périurbains.Ce maintien sur place est d’autant plus envisageable, que ces espaces, en région parisienne, s’équipent et se structurent. En retour, ancrés et impliqués localement, les retraités, bien que divers dans leurs modes d’habiter, participent à la reconfiguration de ces territoires périurbains franciliens et à l’adaptation des politiques publiques locales en direction des attentes et des besoins des aînés. |

| Summary, etc. | This article relies on the remobilization of results of comprehensive surveys conducted in peri-urban spaces between 2007 and 2013 in the region of Paris. It considers ageing household living conditions and their adjustments to cope with ageing. It questions the maintenance or not of these populations in contexts considered as unsuitable for them.A first point relates to current trends of residential strategies in later life: mobility, immobility and attachment to the house. We then examine the main reshaping of the ways of living of the retired people interviewed. This means addressing the reconfiguration of spatialities as well as sociabilities, which differ according to residential contexts, family and social trajectories and the level of autonomy. The surveys reveal tactics and strategies carried out by ageing households to keep control of their daily lives and to remain as long as possible in these peri-urban environments.This ageing in place is especially feasible as these spaces, in the Paris area, are being more and more equipped and structured. In return, anchored and involved locally, these retirees, although different in their ways of living, participate in the reconfiguration of peri-urban territories and in the adaptation of local public policies in accordance with the expectations and needs of seniors. |
