| Summary, etc. | Les évolutions de notre société font de l’isolement social un risque qui expose chacun d’entre nous, et notamment les plus fragiles, les plus pauvres et les plus âgés, à une nouvelle souffrance sociale, celle de la solitude subie. Y faire face suppose une évolution de l’intervention publique qui doit prendre acte de ce risque, l’intégrer dans ses politiques de prévention et articuler l’action de l’État avec une activation des citoyens, favoriser la complémentarité entre acteurs bénévoles et professionnels et mieux appréhender les logiques de coopération sur un territoire proche des personnes. La Mobilisation nationale contre l’isolement social des âgés (MONALISA) a été lancée en janvier 2014 sur ces éléments de diagnostic et d’analyse. Il s’agit d’une démarche intégrée d’engagement et de coopération, de mise en convergence des forces vives de la société pour susciter, soutenir et multiplier les « équipes citoyennes » pour reconstruire du lien social autour des personnes âgées isolées. À un peu plus de deux ans de son lancement, la dynamique de mobilisation est encourageante, chacun peut y trouver sa place et s’y engager. |

| Summary, etc. | A national mobilisation against isolation : the momentum of MONALISAChanges in our society have created a new risk – social isolation – that exposes each of us, notably those who are the most fragile, the poorest and the eldest, to a new kind of social suffering, one of endured solitude. Tackling this issue calls for an evolution of public intervention, which must recognize it, include it in its prevention policies, coordinate the state’s action with the engagement of citizens, promote the complementarity between volunteers and professionals, and enhance its understanding of networking schemes within a territory near people. The national mobilisation against the social isolation of the eldest (MONALISA) has been launched in january 2014 on the basis these elements of diagnosis and analysis. It consists in an integrated approach of engagement and cooperation, of gradual convergence of the vital forces of society, to arise, support and multiply the « citizen’s teams », that rebuild social links around the isolated elderly. After more than two years, the mobilisation seems promising : each of us can engage, and find its place in it. |
