| Summary, etc. | À partir des années 2000 avec notamment la médiatisation de la « Maison des Babayagas », la thématique de l’habitat autogéré pour personnes âgées se popularise dans le milieu académique, chez les acteurs de terrain et dans le grand public. Mais la réalisation de ce type d’habitat se heurte à de multiples obstacles, dont le principal réside dans la réalisation concrète des utopies fondatrices. Au prisme d’une approche comparative, à partir de l’étude du modèle spécifique de la maison communautaire des Sœurs Aînées de l’Institut des Sœurs de Saint François d’Assise, cet article se propose de mettre en lumière les modalités particulières du « vivre ensemble » qui sont instaurées au sein de ces lieux de vie. Celles-ci s’établissent dans une articulation entre autonomie et solidarité, et semblent être déterminées par les trajectoires de vie différenciées des acteurs qui les mettent en place. |

| Summary, etc. | Since 2000, with the media coverage of the “Maison des Babayagas” French project, the topic of self-managed senior cohousing has become popular one in the academic world, as well as among professionals and the general public. But these experiments face many difficulties particularly in the successful achievement of the project. In a comparative view based on a very specific model, a religious St. Francis of the Assisi community, this article discusses the different ways of “communal life” that are established in senior cohousing projects. Living together is articulated between autonomy and solidarity and determined by the variety of resident’s life courses. |
