| Summary, etc. | En décalage apparent avec les modèles construits par la sociologie religieuse, un certain type de conversion, rarement (pour ne pas dire presque jamais) étudié par les sciences sociales et historiques, semble offrir un contre-modèle tant il est discret, contraint, déterminé et, pour tout dire, le révélateur paradoxal d’une ouverture limitée du judaïsme et de l’islam l’un à l’autre : celui des musulmans convertis au judaïsme. Devant la pauvreté des sources classiques sur un phénomène quasiment invisible dans la littérature spécialisée, mais admettant une certaine visibilité dans les médias électroniques, le choix s’est porté sur un essai d’exploration de cette « improbable » conversion à partir des traces fragiles et incertaines, livrées par les sites internet. |

| Summary, etc. | From Islam to Judaism?Out of step with the models built by the sociology of religion, a certain from of conversion, rarely if ever studied by social and historical sciences, seems to offer a counter-model. The conversion of Muslims to Judaism is discreet and restricted, yet it is clearly exists as a paradoxical indicator of a limited window between Judaism and Islam. Confronted with the lack of conventional, academic sources on an almost invisible phenomenon, but allowing for a certain visibility in electronic media, this article is an exploration of this “unlikely” conversion, based on the fragile and uncertain traces found on the Web. |
