| Summary, etc. | Le kyste hépatique est une maladie bénigne de découverte souvent fortuite et ne présente aucun risque de dégénérescence. Le diagnostic de certitude est parfois difficile à poser en particulier en cas de complications. Le kyste hépatique peut augmenter de volume et ainsi devenir symptomatique voire présenter certaines complications comme la rupture, l’hémorragie ou l’infection. Les kystes compressifs, symptomatiques ou compliqués sont une indication pour un traitement chirurgical. Ce dernier vise à évacuer le contenu du kyste et réaliser une fenestration en réséquant le dôme saillant pour éviter qu’il ne se remplisse sous tension par la suite. Cette intervention se fait en routine par laparoscopie et a de très bons résultats. |

| Summary, etc. | Non parasitic liver cysts is a non-malignant cystic tumor and normally asymptomatic. The diagnosis could be difficult particularly in case of complicated cysts. Symptoms can appear in large cysts and complications are represented by compression, rupture, hemorrhage or infection. Surgical treatment has to be considered only in case of symptomatic and complicated cysts. Surgery aims to decompress the cyst and to realize a deroofing avoiding the recurrence of the cyst and the symptoms. Mini-invasive laparoscopic surgery is routinely performed with excellent results. |
