Summary, etc. | RésuméLa discrimination et la gestion de la diversité font toujours débat, tant au plan national qu’international comme l’attestent plusieurs statistiques. Si les entreprises font des efforts notables pour développer la diversité et les compétences interculturelles de leurs membres, de nombreuses zones grises subsistent et témoignent des ratages de la diversité. Un angle d’analyse proposé pour tenter d’expliquer cette situation est celui de la peur de l’Autre, comme représentant les menaces réelles ou imaginaires. La conclusion se centre sur le rôle du pédagogue face à ces situations et propose de renforcer la capacité d’analyse des personnes par l’usage d’une pédagogie de l’incident critique susceptible de lever certains tabous et non-dits. |

Summary, etc. | Discrimination and diversity management are often controversial be i tat domestic or international levels. Companies have made a lot of efforts to invest in and implement diversity programs, but there are still a lot of grey areas and shadows selection processes. We analyse this situation and propose to review this question using fear as a key explanatory variable. In conclusion we present and promote the critical incident method to enhance the critical thinking about this kind of problems, in the classrooms and in the organizations. |
