| Summary, etc. |

| Summary, etc. | Work adjustment is the most explanatory reason for an expatriate’s performance and total accomplishment of his mission. This research analyses the impact of some determinant elements on work adjustment turned towards the conciliation of economic and social performance in a cultural diversity context. We have thus approached the effect of adaptability, organizational and social support, intercultural training (in terms of duration), previous overseas experience, time passed in host country and age on work adjustment. We rely on an empirical analysis conducted on a sample / panel of 202 expatriate executives in Tunisia. The results obtained proved the positive and significant impact of some dimensions of adaptability as well as emotional and instrumental support of the original organization on work adjustment. The principal conclusion of this study emphasizes the important of these determinants on work adjustment but it also shows that they remain relative. |
