| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa crise de la Covid-19 a été vécue de plein fouet par l’Institut Gustave Roussy, premier centre de lutte contre le cancer en Europe, qui a choisi de revoir très tôt son organisation pour traverser cette période inédite tout en déployant une communication adaptée au bénéfice de différents publics : patients, personnels, grand public, donateurs et professionnels de santé avec des objectifs ajustés à chaque cible.Il s’agissait de les informer et de partager avec eux les trois priorités de l’institution et leurs répercussions organisationnelles :• limiter les risques de contamination afin de protéger patients et personnels ;• assurer en sécurité la continuité des soins pour éviter toute perte de chance pour nos patients ;• mettre l’expertise de Gustave Roussy au service de la crise de la Covid.Gérer la communication en temps de crise a nécessité le déploiement des messages les plus précis pour répondre aux questions et aux attentes de différents publics, dans un contexte où l’urgence et l’émotion prennent facilement le dessus. |

| Summary, etc. | Gustave Roussy, Europe's leading cancer centre, has had first-hand experience of the Covid-19 crisis. The centre decided to review its internal organisation at a very early stage in order to get through this unprecedented period, while at the same time communicating appropriately with patients, staff, the general public, donors and healthcare professionals, with objectives adjusted to each target audience. The aim was to provide information on the institution's three priorities and their organisational implications:• to limit the risk of contamination in order to protect patients and staff ;• to ensure safe continuity of care, to avoid patients losing out on opportunities ;• to apply the expertise within Gustave Roussy to assist with the Covid-19 crisis.Managing communication in times of crisis has meant deploying the most effective messages in response to questions and expectations from different groups within a context in which a sense of urgency and emotion may readily predominate. |
