| Summary, etc. | RésuméUne crise sanitaire inédite, une mobilisation sans précédent des structures de soins, un centre de lutte contre le cancer qui souhaite contribuer sans perdre de vue son cœur de métier, des équipes soignantes motivées avec des valeurs fortes, un encadrement innovant et moteur... Voilà le cocktail qui a permis à l’Institut Gustave-Roussy de prendre sa place dans l’accueil et le traitement des patients atteints de Covid-19. De la gouvernance de l’Institut à un travail en coordination des différentes directions, c’est bien le collectif qui a fait face et a su apporter les réponses nécessaires à une bonne gestion de la crise. Bien sûr, l’Institut Gustave-Roussy s’est appuyé sur ce qui constitue sa force et son identité : l’innovation, la recherche clinique et l’expertise en soins, des valeurs soignantes fortes, une communication efficace. S’il n’a pas été simple de faire face à la crise, ses enseignements seront bénéfiques à long terme. |

| Summary, etc. | The combination of an unprecedented involvement of healthcare facilities, a cancer centre striving to contribute without losing sight of its core activity, motivated healthcare teams with strong values, and an innovative and forward-moving management style has enabled Gustave Roussy to receive and treat Covid-19 patients during this unprecedented crisis. From managing the institute to collaboration between the various departments, it was indeed this collective endeavour that ensured the crisis was handled well. Of course, Gustave Roussy has been supported by its core strengths and raison d’être: innovation, clinical research and expertise in care, strong caring values, and effective communication. While it has not been easy to tackle the crisis, the centre will benefit from its experience in the long run. |
