Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Between the 1950s and the 1970s, the Iranian Pahlavi regime experienced an authoritarian turn, which prompted part of the country’s educated youth to flee Iran and continue their studies abroad. In the case of France, these students are distinguished by the growing place they occupy in the political and media scene. The political practice of these Iranian students in exile in France has changed profoundly, so that the French general intelligence and the Iranian authorities saw in the stay in France the engine of the politicisation of these young people. However, starting from a redefinition of the concept of politicisation, it appears that, in three decades, exile in France presents itself as a time of development of their set of action and not a moment of change from an absence of politicisation to political radicalisation such as this phenomenon is presented in sources. |
