520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Alkaline phosphatase activity is a parameter included in biochemical liver test. These isoenzymes are of various cellular origin inducing physiological variations on age and sex. The alkaline phosphatase activity standardization as well as numerous international studies have made it possible to standardize the pediatric reference values. The hyperphosphatasemia etiologies are very well know but the hypophosphatasemia are hardly explored and can allow the diagnosis of pathologies including hypophosphatasia, a rare treatable disease. |
