| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’accréditation des examens d’analyse médicale, selon la norme NF EN ISO 15189, s’appuie sur un dossier de validation de méthodes devant établir la vérification des performances de la méthode avec prise en compte de tous les facteurs pouvant avoir une influence sur les résultats. L’auto-immunité regroupe de nombreux examens et techniques, parmi lesquelles les techniques d’immunofluorescence indirecte (IFI) dont les performances sont directement conditionnées par les compétences des personnels. Les niveaux de compétence requis doivent être définis a priori ; une habilitation consécutive à l’évaluation des compétences, elle-même secondaire à une formation adaptée doit être établie pour chaque membre du personnel, afin d’autoriser la réalisation des examens biologiques en IFI. Le groupe français de l’European autoimmunity standardisation initiative group (EASI) propose des fiches d’habilitation précisant l’ensemble des critères et éléments de preuve de la maîtrise et du maintien des compétences en distinguant deux étapes : la préparation des lames puis leur lecture. Ces fiches peuvent être un support à la formation et à l’habilitation du personnel en IFI et sont à adapter à la pratique et à l’activité de chaque laboratoire. |

| Summary, etc. | The ISO 15189 accreditation of biological analysis needs the validation of the analytical methods allowing the evaluation of their performance including all the factors that could influence the quality of their results. The field of autoimmunity includes many analyses and methods such as the indirect immunofluorescence technique (IIF) and the performance of this technique largely depends on the competency of staff members. For each staff member, the required levels of competency have to be precisely defined and evaluated after a period of formation before the final habilitation for the IIF technique. The French group of the international group called EASI (European autoimmunity standardisation initiative) proposes two habilitation forms to be filled with criteria, evidence and maintenance of target skills for the IIF preparation of slides and reading. These forms could be used as a model for the IIF formation and habilitation and have to be adapted to the routine practice of the laboratories. |
