| Summary, etc. | Résumé Le biologiste médical a un rôle central dans le conseil et l’interprétation des résultats auprès des prescripteurs. L’interprétation des résultats d’analyses de biologie médicale doit figurer sur les comptes rendus d’analyses selon les exigences de la norme NF EN ISO 15189. Le domaine de l’auto-immunité regroupe de nombreux examens et techniques spécialisés, dont l’interprétation peut être délicate, à la fois pour les biologistes n’ayant pas toujours accès aux informations cliniques mais aussi pour les cliniciens qui n’ont pas toujours connaissance des limites analytiques des techniques. Le groupe français de l’European autoimmunity standardisation initiative group (EASI) propose un recueil de commentaires et de conduites à tenir pour les biologistes afin de les aider à interpréter les résultats d’analyses d’auto-immunité. Ces propositions de commentaires sont à adapter en fonction du contexte clinico-biologique (autres résultats biologiques, contexte clinique) et ont pour objectif d’alerter le prescripteur sur les résultats concernés. Le dialogue clinicien-biologiste, favorisé par les commentaires sur les comptes rendus, reste essentiel pour optimiser la prestation de conseil et la prise en charge du patient. |

| Summary, etc. | The ISO 15189 accreditation of biological analysis requires the presence of interpretation in the analysis report. The interpretation in the field of autoimmunity which includes many analyses and methods can be complex for biologists who may not have clinical data and for clinicians who may not be aware of technical difficulties. The French group of the european group EASI (European autoimmunity standardisation initiative) proposes a list of comments and advice in order to help biologists when interpreting auto-immune analyses results in several situations. These comments should be adapted to the clinical and biological situation (other biological results, clinical data…) and should alert the clinician. A dialogue between the biologist and the clinician is essential to adjust the interpretation on clinical data in order to provide a better health care for the patient. |
