520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. AimTo determine the frequency of anti-phospholipid antibodies (aPL) in particular anti-cardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I antibodies (aβ2GPI) in Tunisian patients with type 1 diabetes.Patients and methodsOne hundred and two patients with type 1 diabetes (34 children, 68 adults) were studied. As control groups, we used sera of 156 adults and 65 children without type 1 diabetes. aCL and aβ2GPI were detected by ELISA.ResultsThe frequency of aPL was significantly higher in type 1 diabetes patients than in control group (18.6% vs. 5.9%, p ConclusionFemale adults with type 1 diabetes had high frequency of aCL and aβ2GPI.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
