| Summary, etc. | The footnote disclosures required by IAS 24 and the new IFRS 12 were intended to compensate for the loss of information associated with the switch from proportionate consolidation to the equity method (EM) for joint ventures under IFRS 11. This article examines the compliance of note disclosures on EM entities for CAC 40 non-financial companies, whether for joint ventures or associates. It shows that impression management can be achieved, particularly with regard to the scope of the information disclosed. The IASB’s requirement that information should not be obscured by immaterial information and that judgment is required in defining such information may provide leverage for opportunistic management of information about EM entities. |

| Summary, etc. | Les informations demandées en annexe par l’IAS 24 et la nouvelle IFRS 12 devaient pallier la perte d’information liée au passage de l’intégration proportionnelle à la mise en équivalence (ME) pour les coentreprises avec l’IFRS 11. Cet article étudie la conformité des informations en annexe sur les entités ME, pour les sociétés non financières du CAC 40, que ce soit pour les coentreprises ou les entités associées. Il montre une possible gestion des impressions (GI) jouant en particulier sur le périmètre de l’information donnée. Le fait que l’IASB demande de ne pas obscurcir l’information par des informations non significatives, avec un exercice du jugement pour les définir, peut donner un levier pour une gestion opportuniste de l’information sur les entités ME. |
