Parmi elles, 550 000 se sont déplacées à l’intérieur de la Côte d’Ivoire et 360 000 Burkinabés se sont déplacés vers le Burkina Faso. Cet article analyse les conséquences de l’arrivée de ces migrants sur le peuplement et sur le paysage de deux zones d’accueil au sud-ouest distants de deux cents kilomètres. Il ouvre une perspective nouvelle sur les migrations internes africaines et montre des impacts très différenciés. |

| Summary, etc. | The September 2002 Crisis in Côte d’Ivoire and Migrants from Burkina FasoAbout one million people fled their homes in Côte d’Ivoire following the civil war that erupted on 19 September 2002. Among the refugees, 550,000 migrated to the interior and 360,000 Burkinabes returned to Burkina Faso. This article analyzes these migrations’ effects on the populations and countryside in the refugee-receiving areas, two hundred kilometers apart to the southwest. It provides a new perspective on internal African migrations and shows very different impacts. |
