Ce statut est lié à un prestige dû à l’accès à certains biens de consommation valorisés, mais aussi à la possibilité de prendre en charge des parents, ou encore d’accéder à certains établissements scolaires. De sorte qu’au-delà du prestige, une position de pouvoir dans le cadre familial, villageois, voire urbain, peut en découler. Le recours aux postes de fonctionnaires est le seul moyen d’éviter la pauvreté, d’avoir une situation stable et de lier plusieurs activités. |
