| Summary, etc. | L’article propose, à partir d’une enquête multisite auprès de jeunes « en mouvement » du Maroc vers la France, d’analyser les logiques discursives et les logiques d’action ambivalentes et parfois concurrentes mises en œuvre au nom du « bien de l’enfant », en s’intéressant particulièrement au travail institutionnel d’autonomisation dont témoigne la prise en charge de ces jeunes. À partir de l’étude d’un public « à la marge » de la protection de l’enfance, il s’agit ainsi d’observer comment le travail moral auprès des jeunes catégorisés « mineurs non accompagnés » éclaire les processus de gouvernement de la jeunesse par l’action sociale et humanitaire. En portant le regard sur les discours et les pratiques de la protection et de l’autonomie, l’article interroge les effets de la profusion de dispositifs et d’intervenants sur les expériences migratoires juvéniles en s’intéressant à leurs déclinaisons au Maroc et en France. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on a multi-site survey of young people migrating from Morocco to France, this article sets out to analyse the ambivalent and sometimes competing discursive logics and logics of action implemented in the name of the “good of the child”. It particularly focuses on the institutional work of empowerment that can be seen in the way these young people are cared for. Based on the study of this population “on the margins” of child welfare services, this article aims to observe how moral work with young people categorized as “unaccompanied minors” sheds light on the processes by which young people are governed through social and humanitarian action. Exploring the discourses and practices of protection and autonomy, the article questions the impact of the increasing number of mechanisms and actors involved in young people’s experiences of migration, and looks at their different forms in Morocco and France. |
