Tackling on the foundations of Catholic philo-Semitism, Paul Démann brought about a new trend of Christian teaching about Israel. Laying stress on the relationship in faith which brings together Christians and Jews, devising the link to Israel as the symbol of a movement which brings one another closer, Paul Démann strove to include the Jewish people in a vision of “the people of God” which could do it justice. |
