| Summary, etc. | Dans cet article, je m’intéresse à la relation qu’une recherche interdisciplinaire sur les conséquences du changement climatique (ou « impacts climatiques ») entretient avec la politique du climat, en particulier en Allemagne. J’esquisserai d’abord le style de pensée dominant dans ce champ de recherche et montrerai comment l’accent mis sur la modélisation rend invisibles certaines différences (sociales) significatives. Sur cette base, et en prenant l’exemple allemand des comités d’experts, j’examinerai la manière dont l’action politique en contexte d’incertitude fait naître entre la science et la politique une relation qui conduit à un rétrécissement – toujours aussi d’ordre disciplinaire – de la pratique scientifique et à une dépolitisation du discours politique. J’opposerai à cette évolution une recherche sur les impacts climatiques qui soit publique, assume sa dimension politique, et s’engage avec tous ses modèles dans un processus de problématisation, dont l’objectif est la recherche d’un nouvel ordre moral qui respecte les limites planétaires. |

| Summary, etc. | In this paper, I discuss the relationship of interdisciplinary climate impact research and its relation to climate policy, especially in Germany. I first outline the prevailing style of thinking in climate impact research and how the focus on modelling makes significant (social) differences invisible. On this basis, using the example of expert panels in Germany, I discuss how political action under uncertainty gives rise to a relationship between science and politics that leads to an increasingly disciplinary narrowing of scientific practice and depoliticizes political discourse. I contrast this development with public climate impact research that sees itself as political and that, together with its models, enters into a process of problematization whose goal is to search for a new moral order that respects planetary boundaries. |

| Summary, etc. | In diesem Beitrag diskutiere ich das Verhältnis einer interdisziplinären Klimafolgenforschung und ihrer Beziehung zur Klimapolitik vor allem in Deutschland. Ich skizziere zunächst den vorherrschenden Denkstil in der Klimafolgenforschung und wie der Fokus auf Modellierung signifikante (soziale) Differenzen unsichtbar macht. Auf dieser Basis diskutiere ich am Beispiel von Expertengremien in Deutschland, wie politisches Handeln unter Unsicherheit ein Verhältnis von Wissenschaft und Politik entstehen lässt, dass zu einer immer auch disziplinären Verengung von wissenschaftlicher Praxis führt und den politischen Diskurs entpolitisiert. Dieser Entwicklung stelle ich eine öffentliche Klimafolgenforschung entgegen, die sich selbst als politisch versteht und die mit samt ihren Modellen in einen Prozess der Problematisierung einsteigt, dessen Ziel es ist, nach einer neuen moralischen Ordnung zu suchen, die planetare Grenzen respektiert. |
