| Summary, etc. | Dès 1976, la Normandie, terre de rock’n’roll depuis les sixties, toute proche de Londres et forte de disquaires indépendants, s’engouffre dans l’aventure punk. Plusieurs groupes se forment et tentent l’expérience. Provocatrice, révoltée, énergique, violente, cette première vague punk normande détonne dans un paysage régional amorphe. Malgré des difficultés, ces groupes tracent leur (court) chemin. Ils posent alors les bases d’un mouvement musical qui perdure avec l’arrivée d’une seconde génération de groupes punks à l’entrée des années 1980. |

| Summary, etc. | Normandy, geographically close to London and in tune with rock’n’roll, with a host of independant music shops, adopted the punk scene after 1976. Several bands tried their luck. Provocative, rebellious, energetic, and violent this first Norman punk wave seemed out of place in an amorphous regional scene. Despite difficulties, these bands made their way and created the necessary conditions for the ressurgence of a second punk generation in the 1980’s. |
