| Summary, etc. | This article provides an introduction to the recent debates on replicability in international quantitative sociology for French-speaking readers. First, it examines several causes of what is commonly referred to as the “replicability crisis,” highlighting the discipline’s specific characteristics. It argues that replicability issues are not solely linked to intentional fraud but rather to two major elements: the set of practices commonly labelled “p-hacking,” encouraged by an incentive structure favoring novelty and statistically significant results, and the myriad of micro-decisions necessary for producing a result. In the second part, the article discusses solutions proposed in the international literature. It notably examines avenues for valorizing replication efforts, practices associated with open science, and study preregistration. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose une introduction aux récents débats concernant la réplicabilité en sociologie quantitative internationale, à l’attention des lecteurs francophones. Dans un premier temps, il examine plusieurs des causes de ce que l’on désigne communément comme la « crise de la réplicabilité », en mettant en évidence les particularités propres à la discipline. Il soutient que les problèmes de réplicabilité ne sont pas exclusivement liés à la fraude intentionnelle, mais plutôt à deux éléments majeurs : d’une part, les pratiques à la frontière de la fraude, parfois regroupées sous le terme de p-hacking, qui sont encouragées par une structure d’incitation favorisant la nouveauté et les résultats statistiquement significatifs ; d’autre part, l’ensemble des microdécisions nécessaires à la production d’un résultat. Dans une seconde partie, l’article discute les solutions proposées dans la littérature internationale. Il examine notamment les pistes visant à valoriser les efforts de réplication, les pratiques relevant de la science ouverte et le préenregistrement des études. |
