| Summary, etc. | Depuis les années quatre-vingt et la mondialisation de l’économie, les échanges et litiges internationaux ont été démultipliés. La France s’est dotée dès 1995 d’une chambre internationale au sein du Tribunal de commerce de Paris. Néanmoins, Londres concentrait la majorité de ces contentieux. Avec le Brexit, la place française s’est modernisée en créant une chambre internationale au sein de la Cour d’appel de Paris. Deux protocoles procéduraux ont vu le jour, adaptant la procédure civile française aux besoins du commerce international. Plusieurs incompatibilités subsistent encore entre les acteurs de common law et de civil law, renforçant considérablement les missions de l’avocat français face à ses clients étrangers. |

| Summary, etc. | Since the 1980s and the globalization of economy, international trade and litigation have increased. In 1995, France created an international chamber within the Commercial Court of Paris. However, London used to concentrate the majority of these disputes. With the Brexit, the French court has modernized by creating an international chamber within the Paris Court of Appeal. Two procedural protocols were created, adjusting French civil procedure to the needs of international trade. Several incompatibilities still exist between common law and civil law, considerably reinforcing the missions of the French lawyer vis-à-vis his foreign clients. |
