| Summary, etc. | Cet article examine comment le projet leibnizien d’une logique véritablement inventive pose le problème de l’unité de la logique, c’est-à-dire fondamentalement celui de l’articulation d’une logique générale, focale, aux différentes logiques locales. L’article examine ainsi les trois manières dont cette articulation a été pensée par Leibniz : d’abord comme la possibilité d’une application de la logique générale ; puis comme celle de la possibilité de modèles logiques, c’est-à-dire d’un transfert d’une forme logique d’un domaine à un autre ; et enfin comme celle du rapport diversifié entre les fondements et les échantillons de la Science générale. Il faut alors conclure que l’unité de la logique, en tant qu’inventive, ne peut être ni celle d’un calcul mécanique ni celle d’une doctrine achevée. |

| Summary, etc. | Logica est Scientia generalisThis article shows how the Leibnizian project of a true inventive Logic necessarily raises the issue of its unity, which is mainly to be understood as the relationship of a general, focal Logic to the various local Logics. The article thus examines the three Leibnizian ways to consider this relationship : first, as the possibility to apply the general logic ; second, as the possibility to use logical models, that is to say to transfer a logical form from one domain to the other ; and finally as a complex relationship between the foundations and the specimens of the so-called General Science. One concludes that the unity of Logic cannot be that of a mechanical calculation or that of an achieved doctrine. |
