520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Qualitative Leap and RationalityBy bringing into opposition the existence and the system, Kierkegaard rejects the self-movement of the speculative dialectic in favor of an open dialectic which concludes by the mean of a leap. In this way, he is so far from succumbing to irrationalism that he expresses a genuine philosophical position drawn from his reading of Aristotle and Leibniz. It is then the confrontation with Hegel that provides the Danish philosopher the opportunity to articulate the justification for the leap and the request of continuity in the existential perspective. To challenge the Hegelian theory of measure, Kierkegaard appropriates the sorites paradox, invented by the Megarics. Simultaneously, he explains the meaning of his own approach through the analysis of qualitative leap.
