| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article met en perspective trois objets construits dans le champ de la santé : la santé publique, l’idéologie humanitaire, la santé parfaite. Le premier objet, la santé publique, porte sur un champ de relations sociales où la puissance symbolique du pouvoir thérapeutique est particulièrement structurante. Un droit à la santé est formulé. L’idéologie humanitaire nous met en présence d’une ingérence compassionnelle réalisée au nom d’un droit à la vie dont la médecine d’urgence apparaît comme l’outil privilégié. Le droit à la vie se présente comme la forme minimale du droit à la santé. Enfin, la santé parfaite, dont la logique se développe sous nos yeux, constitue un troisième objet, prospectif, qui renouvelle les représentations de la santé, puisqu’il s’agit d’un devoir de santé, dont le caractère impératif amène à reformuler les positions respectives des acteurs réels et symboliques et la construction du lien social par la santé. |

| Summary, etc. | Three subject-stages in the globalisation of the health standardThis article puts in perspective three subjects constructed ion the field of health: public health, humanitarian ideology, and perfect health. The first object, public health, focuses on the field of social relations where the symbolic force of therapeutic power has a particularly structuring effect. A formulation is made of a right to health. Humanitarian ideology brings in compassion-inspired intervention carried out in the name of a right to live for which emergency medicine appears as the prime tool. The right to live is presented as the basic minimum form of the right to health. The notion of perfect health, the logic for which is developing under our very eyes, constitutes a third prospective subject, which renews representations of health, because it involves a duty with regard to health, whose imperative nature leads to reformulation of the respective positions of real and symbolic actors and the construction of social bonding by way of health. |
