| Summary, etc. | Les habitants du territoire de Valachie ont été depuis toujours chrétiens de confession orthodoxe. En premier lieu le siège de la métropole était à Vicina. Selon les sources de l’époque, suite aux évènements politiques en 1359, cette même métropole a due siéger à la résidence princière de Curtea de Arges. Nous pouvons conclure donc que la métropole de Valachie date de 1280, et que le premier métropolite fut Théodore. |

| Summary, etc. | Since its status creation Wallachia always has been Christian of Orthodox confession. Initially, the Metropolitan of Wallachia had its headquarters in Vicina. It was only in 1359 when it was moved into the princely residence of Curtea de Arges, and not newly established. Therefore one can conclude that the Metropolitan of Wallachian dates from about 1280, when it emerged in Vicina having Teodor as its first Metropolitan Bishop. |
