| Summary, etc. | Les changements radicaux que la scène politique internationale et en particulier en Europe du Sud-Est a connus à la fin des années 1980 sont sans aucun doute l’un des points de repère dans l’histoire mondiale du siècle précédent. Des manifestations de protestations sociales qui ont commencé en 1989 devaient conduire à la fin de la guerre froide et l’effondrement du « socialisme réel ». Les médias sont la source quasi exclusive d’informations sur les événements sociaux et politiques. Leur rôle est d’informer, de mettre en évidence les nouvelles, basés sur du matériel fiable et digne de confiance essayant de ne pas fausser l’exactitude de l’information, afin que le lecteur peut se former une opinion par lui-même. La façon dont les médias perçoivent, construisent la réalité socio-politique encadre et oriente la façon dont les gens perçoivent et construisent la réalité. Dans cet article, je vais essayer de voir la façon dont la presse grecque dépeint les évènements en 1989 en Europe de l’Est avec un intérêt particulier à l’évènement de la chute du mur de Berlin, en le considérant comme étant le facteur le plus importent pour l’avenir économique et socio-politique de l’Europe. |

| Summary, etc. | The radical changes that the international political scene and particularly the Southeast Europe experienced in the late 1980’s are undoubtedly one of the landmarks in world history of the previous century. Social protests that started in 1989 were to lead to the end of the Cold War and the collapse of socialism. The Media are almost exclusive source of information on social and political events. It’s role is to inform, highlight the news, based on material reliable and trustworthy trying not to distort the accuracy of the information, so that the reader can form an opinion by himself. The way in which the Media perceive, construct and project the sociopolitical reality frames and guides the way people perceive and construct reality. In this paper I will try to show how the Greek press depicted the events on 1989 in Eastern Europe with a special interest in the fall of Berlin Wall, as it was the first big outburst of what it was coming next. |
