520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. In the 1920s, the surgeon Serge Voronoff (1856-1951) and his parisian disciples grafted monkey testicles on man (xenografts). Such xenografts were intended for weakened men who wanted to recover theitr physical strength and their intellectual activities. Many hundreds of men in Paris and thousands in the entire world were rafted in the 20s and 30s. Three clinics in Paris practised such grafts. We deal with the scientific, medical and social context, as well as a possible contagion of man, at that time, by the virus of aids.
