À partir de quelques exemples d’Homère à Góngora, nous montrons que la mutabilité est la caractéristique la plus importante du lieu commun. |

| Summary, etc. | The present study focuses on the analysis of Aurora’s gates in Spanish Golden Age literature, considered as a literary topos, i.e., a recurrent descriptive part of the mythological figure. Our study, based on few examples from Homer to Gongora, reveals that mutability is the most important characteristic of the commonplace. |
