Dans cet article, nous comparons le spanglish avec le latin populaire léonais des IX-XIe siècles et en concluons que les deux variétés mettent en cause une intervention métalinguistique faite à partir d’une conscience bilingue. |

| Summary, etc. | The philological characterization of Spanglish has been much discussed, from the authors who consider it simply a variety of Spanish with anglicisms to those who treat it as a new language. In this paper Spanglish is compared with the León popular Latin in the IX-XI centuries and concluded that both varieties formally involve a metalinguistic intervention carried out from a bilingual awareness. |
